Sometimes, the challenges of
complying with all the Health and Safety
requirements in Ontario can be overwhelming. by the time you sort
through the OHSA, Reg. 851, WHMIS Reg. 860, the regulations concerning
Confined spaces, the Designated Substances Regulations, plus the
applicable CSA Standards, you sometimes don't know if you are coming or
going! After you have gone through these requirements and the
WSIB Workwell Audit you may feel overwhelmed... It doesn't have to
be so difficult!
Gambit's
Team of Health and Safety Consultants can make sense of the legislative
jigsaw puzzle.
We have assisted many of our clients to overcome these and
other challenges. Usually, we will start with an
audit of your companies Health &
Safety Program. This will identify what areas you are having
difficulty with. Once this has been determined, the consultant
will then outline a timeline for completing tasks. It is up to
you how often the consultant comes into your workplace, and the
timeline that you wish to have identified areas dealt with. The
standard for most of our clients has been once every two (2) weeks,
until the objectives are met.
They will work directly with the
Health & Safety
coordinator to implement new policies and procedures, work with the
JHSC to ensure it is functioning effectively, help to ensure timeliness
of completion of tasks, and clarify any information or questions you
may have along the way. The best part that once we have finished
our work with your company, you will be left with a fully functioning,
all inclusive safety program. When Gambit leaves your
workplace, the individual we train
will have the confidence, knowledge and skill to maintain your
